Jordan

Jordan
Mixed Breed
Male
Jordan is an approximately 3–4 year old, 12-lb small breed mix, likely with dachshund and chihuahua in his background. He has beautiful long white hair with soft feathering behind his ears and on his feet, and striking mismatched eyes—one brown and one partially blue.
Jordan can be nervous around new people and busy environments, so he will need a quiet home with patient adopters who will give him time to build trust. Once he feels safe, his true personality shines through. He is incredibly affectionate and devoted, and forms a very strong bond with his person. Jordan loves to snuggle close, rest beside you on a soft blanket, and lean into your chest when you hold him. He especially enjoys being talked to and told how special he is.
Jordan prefers the company of people over other dogs. He is tolerant of other dogs but doesn’t seek them out for play, and often chooses to stay close to his person instead. He can be playful once he is comfortable and will happily dance on his back feet with excitement when treats are involved.
Because Jordan is an excellent climber and can scale a chain-link fence surprisingly quickly, he must have a very secure yard with a roof or fencing that cannot be climbed, or another secure outdoor setup.
Jordan is crate trained and house trained and does very well with a consistent routine. He enjoys cozy sweatshirts and vests and would be happiest as a devoted companion in a calm home where he can spend lots of time close to his person.
He is a gentle, sensitive little dog who is simply looking for a special person to bond with and love for life.
