Caleb

Caleb
Rat Terrier Mix
Male
Meet Caleb — one of the adorable 11-week-old rat terrier brothers, Cricket and Caleb. These two were rescued in Louisiana from a home with too many dogs and not enough resources. Whether they’re purebred or mixed, what matters most is how sweet and happy they are.
Caleb is the “big” brother at 5.7 pounds. He and Cricket look very similar, but Caleb has a black spot on his back and a more social, outgoing personality. He wants to be friends with everyone — people and dogs alike — and he’s convinced the feeling is mutual. Even the older blind, grouchy dachshund lets Caleb curl up beside him.
Caleb loves toys, wrestling with his brother, and running around with the bigger dogs. When he wears himself out, he becomes a total cuddler and will take turns snuggling with everyone in the house. He’s a lovable little pup with a joyful, easygoing nature.
Both boys sleep together in a crate at night and will use a potty pad if they can’t get outside. They’re smart, sweet, and impossible not to fall in love with. They are expected to be around 8–12 pounds full grown.
