Tozi is a purebred Alaskan Husky, born August 26, 2021, from the respected lines of musher Joe Biefelt, grand-nephew of George Attla. Spayed at a year old, she has the classic northern-breed build: a short dark brown coat with lighter accents, white chest and paws, and a seasonal undercoat that keeps her comfortable year-round.
She is a gentle, joyful sweetheart who loves people of all ages and plays beautifully with other dogs. Tozi’s happiest moments are outdoors—she’s adventurous, athletic, and always ready to go. Whether it’s hiking, trail running, XC skiing, or long-distance skijoring or bikejoring, she absolutely shines in motion and can easily handle big miles. She adores snow and can romp for hours, needing only occasional musher’s wax or a jacket on the bitterest days.
At home, Tozi is independent but loving, quiet except for the occasional bark at wildlife, and generally easy to live with. Her recall is solid, especially with an e-collar tone, and she has done very well with both wireless and buried-wire fencing. She enjoys daycare and boarding and gets along with almost all dogs, though she may show mild resource guarding when new dogs enter her space.
Tozi will thrive with an active person or family who can give her daily exercise, room to run, and plenty of outdoor adventures. She isn’t a snuggler, but she forms deep bonds and loves being part of her person’s world. Sweet, adventurous, and athletic, Tozi is a truly special dog and an extraordinary partner for someone who appreciates her spirit.
