When Greta first arrived at her foster mom’s, she was very shy, but she has come a long way. She now plays well with all her foster-siblings, enjoys toys, and has learned to use her bark—though she is not overly vocal.

She has the best ears—they stay standing up even when she sleeps! She loves being petted but is not a big cuddle dog. Enjoys being outdoors and loves to dig.

Would do well in a home with other dogs and likely with older children.

Greta was picked up by animal control as a stray, and we believe she may have been tossed from a car or jumped from the back of a truck.

This girl has already overcome a difficult start in life and is ready for a fresh beginning. She just needs someone willing to give her the chance she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion to grow with your family, Greta is waiting for you
