Colt is a 14-week-old Catahoula mix, about 18 lbs, with stunning markings, an adorable pink nose, and one non-visual eye that doesn’t cause him any pain or affect his happy-go-lucky spirit. Dumped with his litter in rural Louisiana, Colt was the only pup who didn’t get scooped up right away — their loss, because this boy is pure gold.

Colt is playful, snuggly, goofy, and social with everyone. He loves dogs of all sizes (his BFFs are a mini dachshund and a Rottweiler), has been respectful with cats and even goats, and enjoys car rides, adventures, and movie nights on the couch. He’s doing great with house training and sleeps well in his kennel… though he’ll happily convince you he belongs in the big bed with that irresistible “sad puppy eye.”

Expected to be about 50–60 lbs full grown, Colt would thrive in an active home — especially one with a dog buddy — but he’d also do well as an only pup if he has plenty of dog friends for play dates.

Colt is ready to bring joy, laughs, and so much love to his forever family.
