Valerie is a 15-week-old, 16-lb mixed-breed sweetheart with the softest fur and the biggest heart. Her story began under a bridge, where she and her two siblings survived for over two weeks thanks to the kindness of strangers who stopped to feed them. Understandably, Valerie was scared and unsure when first rescued — but with love and patience in her southern foster home, she’s blossomed beautifully.

Now, Valerie adores people, happily rolls over for belly rubs, and loves a good game of tug-of-war. She’s a playful, chunky girl with a deep love for treats and a tail that never stops wagging.

Valerie would thrive in a home with another friendly dog, as canine companionship helped her gain confidence and learn that people can be trusted. She’s ready to bring her gentle, joyful spirit to a family who’ll love her as much as she’ll love them!
