Male, 1 1/2 years, 63 lbs
Our best guess is he could be part Golden as he has a floofy tail, and he could be part Chesapeake Bay as his coat is quite curly
Scout is an energetic young dog that would do best with a family that can give him daily walks, play fetch with him (he is a retriever and would love that)
He has a very sweet demeanor, affectionate, enjoys belly rubs
He enjoys the company of other dogs 
He is smart and eager to please
He should train quickly, he already knows “no”, how to walk on a leash, sit, stay (most of the time), down (work in progress)
He can be mouthy, so older kids are recommended.  He will benefit from more training.

Scout is a Louisiana owner surrender who did not have time for him, so he was alone a lot. Scout was lonely and seeking attention when he went into rescue, didn't really know what a toy was, but he's learning quickly!
