May take a minute to warm up, he had a rough start in life

Sandy was found as just a wee baby in a Louisiana oil field, abandoned.  He was scared and skittish at first, but has warmed up to his foster family and is now trusting that humans are kind.  He takes treats, likes to be petted, sits in your lap and is really trying to be a brave little guy.  He'll get there. 

His ideal family will be calm and gentle with him, and give him time to decompress and acclimate once he gets to Vermont.  He loves other dogs and would do well with another dog in the home to help him learn about his family.
