Pierre is a charming three-year-old Yorkie mix with a sweet, loyal nature. He’s housebroken, affectionate, and loves one-on-one time with his people—especially walks or even a light jog.

Previously placed in a loving home in rural Vermont, Pierre didn’t get quite enough exercise or social exposure. As a result, he can be wary of strangers and passing cars, and may bark defensively when people enter his space. However, he’s calm and gentle with other dogs and has shown no aggression toward small animals, including rabbits.

Pierre would do best in a quiet home (no young children) where he can feel safe and build trust at his own pace. A home with another friendly dog—or two—would be a bonus, giving him companionship and confidence.

With patience, love, and regular exercise, Pierre will blossom into a devoted and delightful companion.
