Mo’s story starts on a Louisiana dirt road, where he and his friend Sangria were found abandoned in a wire crate—left in the hot sun with severe mange and dangerously poor health. A kind-hearted stranger rushed them to a local vet, where they spent several weeks receiving medical care, medicated baths, and lots of love.

Now safe and thriving in his Vermont foster home, Mo is blossoming. His once-bare skin is now soft and fuzzy with peach fuzz, and every day brings new little tufts of hair and healing. But more importantly, his gentle soul is shining through.

Mo is a laid-back, sweet-natured pup who loves to snuggle—whether it’s with his human foster family, other dogs, or even the household cat. He’s currently being fostered with children and doing wonderfully.
