Sweet dog, very friendly and loves to be with his people
Likes other dogs, although due to his past separate feeding recommended; has met a few cats and has ignored them, so would most likely be fine with them in a home
Would make a great addition to an active home; best with older children because of his tendency to get excited and jump up
Needs some basic obedience work; learns quickly and is treat-motivated
Kennel-trained, and walks well on leash
Rescued in southern Louisiana a few months ago, severely emaciated and neglected
