Hi! I am Luna and I have a tail to tell! I am 4 yrs old, 40 lbs. and deaf. Until a couple weeks ago I was incarcerated in the Angola, Louisiana State Penitentiary my whole life. I was the companion animal of a deaf inmate who passed away a month ago. He was a sweet man who raised me to be a great girl.

I am ¼ Border Collie which means I will play fetch ALL DAY, NON-STOP if you are up for it! I am good with other dogs and cats. I am house trained. I am marvelous on leash and very active. I am used to being with my people all of the time because I was never alone when I was in the slammer. I am so locked onto to my people you might not even realize I am deaf.

I would be best in an active home where somebody was home or I could go to work, although I can probably learn to make through the day just napping. A yard to chase the ball in would be the best! Did I mention I am obsessed with chasing balls?!?!?!?! I love to cuddle and sometimes have boundary issues because your lap is where I belong sometimes.
