Kuli is a companionable, fun dog looking for his forever home.

Like many deaf dogs, Kuli struggled until he learned people could communicate with him, but once he figured that out, he learned as quickly as he could!

Kuli lives for tug or fetch. If you want to play games with your dog he’s the one for you. Kuli plays with enthusiasm and understands all the rules of play, like returning with the toy and dropping.

Play is what makes Kuli feel like the incredible dog he is, and anyone who plays with him becomes someone he wants to hang out with and listen to.

He wasn’t socialized with dogs as a pup but is doing a fantastic job figuring out how to communicate with dogs and play with them!

Because of life in his initial home, Kuli isn’t recommended to live with children or cats unless with a strong and experienced handler.

Kuli has been working with Patrick Smith of Resolve Canine Training and has been incredibly successful. Kuli is ecollar trained and understands multiple signs including: sit, stay, place, down, let’s go, come, drop, back, “easy,” “ah-uh,” “good,” and “no.” He’s learning more all the time! Including “I love you.”

Kuli is well on his way to being off-leash reliable.
