Mix breed, male, 4 yrs.
Harvey loves to cuddle and go for walks. He’ll play fetch for a bit and loves to sniff around. He’s very observant and will definitely let you know if someone is approaching your house. He can be somewhat loud when people he doesn’t know are loud around him.
He’s great with other dogs, walks pretty well on a leash and has good off-leash recall. He has no experience with cats.
Foster mom has learned the best way for Harvey to meet people when they come to the house is for them to meet outside and take a quick walk around the block.

The current foster has explained the need to rehome him:
“The reason I want to rehome Harvey is because I got him after my mom died…It worked out great as I was a freelancer and we traveled around the country in my van, going on adventures to national parks and deserts and more. However, my life has drastically changed. I have a full time job 6 days a week. Harvey deserves the best, most fulfilling life. I’m looking for someone who will spend quality time with him, take him on multiple walks, teach him new tricks (he’s a very fast learner, I taught him to spin in one day!)

We’re sure Harvey’s new home is waiting for him in Vermont!
