Meet Our Gentle Giant - Ready to Race You for a Banana!

This sweetheart of a big boy is the definition of a gentle giant. He is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where he can be part of the family and included in everyday life.

He adores hiking and car rides (no carsickness here!) and thrives in peaceful, nature-filled settings. City streets with buses, trucks and crowds make him anxious, so a rural or suburban home would be ideal. He loves to be active outdoors but will happily snuggle up afterward with his favorite blankets and treats - especially bananas, spinach and other fruit!

He knows all the basics and then some: sit, stay, lay down, come, paw, heel, and even “Ready, set, go!” He’ll race you with joy! He is shy with new people at first but warms up quickly with patience and snacks. Zeke enjoys dog parks and gets along with most dogs- except for German Shepherds and aggressive pups.

Because of his sensitivity to noise and unpredictability, he isn’t a good match for homes with young children or cats. He’s food-driven (not aggressive!), deeply affectionate, and just wants a calm home where he can shine.
