Avery’s story began under a bridge, where she and her two siblings survived on their own for days — maybe even weeks — until they were finally rescued. It’s no surprise she was frightened at first, but this brave little girl has blossomed beautifully in her foster home.

Now 4½ months old and about 18 pounds, Avery is a gentle, loyal pup who adores her people and will happily follow you everywhere. She loves other dogs, plays wonderfully with them, and is also great with cats. She enjoys going for walks, exploring the world with her soft, new confidence.

Avery is tender-hearted, trusting, and so ready to bond deeply with someone special.
