Meet Andy — The Gentle Hero
Andy is a survivor in every sense of the word. Hit by a car and left untreated for three weeks, he was finally rescued alongside his sister Anne and given the urgent care he needed. While his leg couldn’t be saved, Andy has taken his amputation in stride and is healing beautifully—stronger every day and ready for his second chance.
Andy is a true gentleman. Calm, affectionate, and intuitive, he’s the kind of dog who just gets you. He’s house trained, kennel trained, comes when called, and is eager to learn. Despite everything he’s been through, Andy has always been gentle and grateful. He’s the ultimate cuddle buddy and has a natural emotional intelligence that would make him a perfect candidate for therapy work.
Andy is good with other dogs and is still learning about cats. He’ll be fully healed and ready for adoption in late July or early August—and trust us, he’ll make someone incredibly lucky.
Bonus: Better Together?
Anne and Andy love each other deeply, but they’ve also shown they can thrive apart. Whether adopted together or separately, these two survivors are ready to bring warmth, joy, and a whole lot of love into their new homes.
