Once upon a time in a rural town outside Carthage, MS, a very sweet cattle dog mix named Dottie was found struggling to keep her little family safe and fed. Life hadn’t been kind to this gentle mama — she was doing her best to survive as a stray while caring for her babies. Thankfully, a kind lady found Dottie and her puppies on the side of the road and kept them safe until rescue could step in.

Dottie is as loving as they come and is now getting the care she deserves (she is HW+ and undergoing treatment). Despite everything she’s been through, her tail still wags and her eyes are full of gratitude.

All of Dottie’s puppies are SUPER sweet, playful, kid-loving, and incredibly cuddly. They’ve been lovingly nurtured and socialized by a 9-year-old little girl, so they’re well on their way to being the perfect family companions.

These little fairytale babies are ready to find their forever happily ever after. They are heeler mixes, they would do best with an active home and someone who knows the breed.  Could that be with you?
